Great Tastes of Manitoba Season 31 The Main Attraction: Manitoba Chicken Salads

We’re excited to be part of Great Tastes of Manitoba show for season 31! Manitoba Chicken’s first show “The Main Attraction – Manitoba Chicken Salads” airs this Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 6:30 pm on CTV Winnipeg. Food & Consumer Relations Specialist dietitian, Gina Sunderland and host Dez Daniels will be creating three delicious, main-dish chicken salads. We love these hearty salad recipes and we’re certain you will too! They’re full of flavour, easy to prepare, incorporate many pantry staples you have on hand, and are so satisfying that they truly are a main attraction.

For season 31 we have an extra special treat. We’ll be showcasing Manitoba farms and introducing you to some of the hard-working farm families that produce the food for our recipes. We are pleased to feature Jake Wiebe of Newest Poultry Farms Inc. and his family in our first show. This segment provides a special opportunity for you to get an inside look into a multi-generational chicken farm where they focus on family values for their farming success. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Wiebe family for sharing their story.
