It’s no secret here at Manitoba Chicken Producers, we love chicken! We’re inviting you to share your chicken love in celebration of National Chicken Month this September by posting your favourite original chicken recipe with a photo. One entry per recipe – you’re welcome to enter as many recipes as you’d like. Use the hashtag #LoveMBChicken and tag @manitobachicken for your entry to be eligible to win one of three prizes!
Submissions accepted between August 1 – 30, 2019 until 4 PM CDT.
There are 4 different ways to enter this contest:
- Post your recipe on Facebook
- Post your recipe on Instagram
- Post your recipe on Twitter
- Or direct email your recipe, stating “Recipe Contest Submission” to
You must include the hashtag #LoveMBChicken and tag @manitobachicken for your entry to be eligible.
A complete recipe entry consists of:
- Recipe name
- Ingredients and amounts
- Preparation steps
- Cooking instructions
- Recipe photo (optional)
Prizes:
Grand prize: $100.00 grocery gift card and Manitoba Chicken Producers kitchen swag valued at over $100.00.
Second prize $75.00 grocery gift card and Manitoba Chicken Producers kitchen swag valued at over $100.00.
Third prize: $50.00 grocery gift card and Manitoba Chicken Producers kitchen swag valued at over $100.00 .
We will feature the three prize winning recipes on our website: manitobachicken.ca and credit will be given to the recipe entrant.
Winning recipes and names of winning entrants will be posted on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts by midnight, Friday, September 13, 2019.
Contest Rules:
Winners will be selected from all eligible entries received for the promotion period. The winning recipes will be chosen by a representative from Manitoba Chicken Producers based on the following criteria: taste, ease of recipe preparation and creativity. By entering the contest, entrant represents, acknowledges and warrants that the submitted photograph and recipe is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph and recipe does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph and recipe. With your submission, you consent to allow Manitoba Chicken Producers to publish these photos and recipes with proprietary rights in printed or digital promotional materials including, but not limited to, the company’s website, social media and any other means of promotion. Recipe testing will be undertaken by Manitoba Chicken Producers and may result in modifications to recipe ingredients and amounts when posted on manitobachicken.ca. Winners will be notified by direct message or email. One entry per recipe. No purchase necessary to enter or win this promotion. Entrants must be Manitoba residents. Contest begins August 1 and ends August 30, 2019, 4 PM CT.
