We’re excited to share our second Great Tastes of Manitoba show of season 31 “A Toast to Manitoba Chicken”. On Saturday, April 24 at 6:30 pm on CTV Winnipeg Gina Sunderland, Food & Consumer Relations Specialist and host Dez Daniels will be showcasing three delicious chicken toast recipes. We love these tasty recipes and we guarantee you will too! They make perfect appetizers, snacks or light meals and are ideal for bringing to the cottage or campsite this summer.
This season we also have an extra special treat. We’ll be featuring our Manitoba farms and introducing you to some of the hard-working farm families who produce the food for our recipes. In this show we’ll be introducing you to the Martens family, owners of Nateson Acres Ltd. Have you have ever wondered how chicken is farmed in Manitoba? Nathan and Stacy Martens and their six children share their story of why they love being chicken farmers!
