1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 onion, chopped
2 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsps minced fresh ginger
1/4 tsp hot pepper flakes
6 cups chicken stock
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
3 cups frozen oriental vegetable mix
6 crimini (brown) mushrooms, sliced
24 - 30 prepared chicken wontons
In a soup pot, heat oil over medium high heat. Add onion, garlic, ginger and pepper flakes. Stir cook until onion is tender.
Add chicken stock, soy sauce and lemon juice: bring to a boil.
Add vegetables: reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add wontons and simmer for 5 minutes.
Spoon into bowls.
