1 package whole wheat or multigrain fusilli (375 gram size)
1 lb lean ground chicken
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp paprika
4 tbsps hot sauce (or to taste)
1 jar spicy pasta sauce (650 - 700 mL size)
2 tbsps vinegar
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
7 oz Blue cheese (200 grams)
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cook fusilli according to package directions. While the pasta is cooking, combine ground chicken, garlic, paprika and hot sauce in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook, breaking up the lumps with a fork, until the chicken is no longer pink and any liquid has evaporated.
Drain pasta. In the same pot, combine pasta, chicken mixture, pasta sauce, hot sauce, vinegar and crumbled Blue cheese. Stir until well mixed. Transfer to a large casserole dish. Top with Mozzarella.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the mixture is bubbling and the Mozzarella is melted. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
