Manitoba Chicken hosted an evening of food and wine at De Luca Fine Wines on November 19. Manitoba food bloggers and some of our Facebook fans enjoyed a four course meal featuring chicken and a delicious dessert from Chocolatier Constance Popp. De Luca’s experts provided wine pairings.

The Appetizer – Ballotine of foie gras and chicken with marinated shimeji mushrooms. Paired with Chateau du Charmes Riesling from Canada
The Soup – Mulligatawny with chicken, apple and coconut. Paired with a German Gewurtztraminer.
The Salad – Jerk chicken with watermelon salad. Paired with Quota 29 Primativo red wine.
